It’s the season for apple picking!

Apple picking is one of my favorite fall activities and a great way to spend a weekend with the family. Choose your favorites and take them home to make fresh apple pie, homemade applesauce, or a simple apple galette!

If you’re looking for a palace to go apple picking near NYC, here are a few top picks: 

Apple Dave’s Orchard in Warwick, New York 

Take a stroll through the walking trail and enjoy a New York beer or the orchard’s signature hard cider in the orchard’s distillery. 

Harvest Moon Farm & Orchard in North Salem, New York 

Alongside the apple picking, you can enjoy pony rides, a pumpkin patch, face painting, bouncy houses, and other carnival activities for the whole family. 

Alstede Farms in Chester, New York 

Full of fun fall activities, Alstede Farms, offers apple picking, hayrides, corn mazes, pony rides, and farm animals to feed.

NYC Wine & Food Festival - Thursday, October 13 - 16

The largest food and wine festival in New York City is happening this month! The festival will have more than 80 events across 4 days. There will be tastings, live demonstrations, master classes, late-night parties, and family-friendly events. If you’re a foodie in the city, you don’t want to miss this!
